Position Summary
Forest Heights Country Club is seeking responsible, attentive, and service-oriented individuals to join our team as Lifeguards. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our members and their guests at the pool facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor pool area to ensure the safety of all members and guests
- Enforce pool rules and regulations in a professional and courteous manner
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including performing water rescues and administering first aid/CPR when necessary
- Maintain a clean and organized pool deck, including arranging furniture and removing debris
- Conduct routine safety checks of pool equipment and report any issues to management
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly, welcoming atmosphere
Qualifications
- Current Lifeguard Certification (Red Cross or equivalent) required
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certification required
- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness
- Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Previous lifeguarding experience preferred but not required
Work Schedule
Flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays
Seasonal position (spring/summer months)
