Industrial Athletic Trainer
We’re looking for someone who can keep workers healthy, productive, and on the job. This role lives where healthcare meets the real world. You’ll prevent injuries, manage early aches and pains, and help employees safely return to work.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide onsite injury prevention and early intervention for musculoskeletal issues
- Evaluate strains, sprains, overuse complaints, and movement limitations
- Deliver first aid and triage within scope of practice
- Guide employees through stretching, mobility, recovery, and self-care strategies
- Perform ergonomic assessments and recommend job/task modifications
- Identify risk patterns and help reduce repeat injuries (training provided)
- Communicate with supervisors, HR, safety, case managers, and medical providers
- Document encounters, trends, and outcomes accurately
- Build trust with employees through daily floor presence and coaching
- Lead wellness initiatives focused on movement, hydration, recovery, and resilience
- Respond when issues are small, before they become OSHA recordables or lost-time claims
What We Need:
- Certified/Licensed Athletic Trainer (BOC required, as is WI License)
- Strong orthopedic and movement assessment skills
- Comfortable in manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or industrial settings
- Strong communicator who can work with both frontline employees and leadership
- Self-starter who sees problems early and acts fast
