Position: Full-Time Kitchen Manager
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years kitchen management experience

We are looking for a strong, hands-on Kitchen Manager who can bring energy, structure, creativity, and pride into our sports bar food program.

We are not looking for someone who simply manages a schedule or watches the line. We need a kitchen leader who knows how to run a clean, organized, profitable kitchen — and who also has the creativity to help build menu items that keep guests coming back.

This is a leadership role for someone who takes ownership, leads by example, trains the team, communicates clearly, and understands that great bar food can be a major reason customers choose us over every other spot in town.

What We’re Looking For

The right candidate will have at least 5 years of kitchen management experience and the ability to lead a busy sports bar kitchen with confidence, urgency, and pride.

You must be able to communicate, train, and lead a team that includes both English and Spanish speaking employees. Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred.

We need someone who cares about the details – food quality, ticket times, cleanliness, prep, consistency, inventory, cost control, equipment, health standards, and team accountability.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years kitchen management experience required.
  • Experience in a sports bar, bar & grill, casual dining, high-volume restaurant, or scratch kitchen preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and train both English- and Spanish-speaking employees.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of food cost, inventory, ordering, prep, portion control, and waste reduction.
  • Knowledge of health department standards, food safety, sanitation, and kitchen compliance.
  • Ability to create recipes, specials, menu ideas, and seasonal offerings.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, fight nights, game days, and high-volume events.
  • Must be hands-on, reliable, accountable, and solutions-oriented.
  • Food Manager Certification preferred or ability to obtain.

We are looking for a serious kitchen professional who is ready to lead, create, clean up systems, train a team, and take pride in every plate that leaves the kitchen.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
