ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Teach K–8 physical education classes that integrate Christian character and sportsmanship
- Plan and lead developmentally appropriate fitness, movement, and health curriculum
- Serve as Athletic Director — coordinate schedules, coaches, facilities, and communications for all school sports programs
- Recruit, mentor, and support volunteer and paid coaches
- Organize school-wide events including field days, chapel-tied devotions in sport, and community competitions
- Foster a culture of teamwork, grace under pressure, and glorifying God through athletic excellence
- Collaborate with administration, families, and staff as an active member of our school family
AD Duties will require additional out of school hours (typically a maximum of 10 per week) and is supported by a stipend above the teaching salary listed.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
✓ Active Christian faith and lifestyle consistent with our mission
✓ Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or related field
✓ Valid teaching certification (or willingness to obtain)
✓ Experience with Love and Logic or similar positive discipline frameworks
✓ Leadership experience in athletic coordination or coaching
✓ Strong relational skills with students, parents, and colleagues
✓ Ability to model servant leadership and Christian sportsmanship
✓ Passion for equipping children to thrive — body, mind, and spirit.
Pay: From $48,000.00 per year
