We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate Junior Swim Coaches to join our growing coaching team. The successful candidates will play a key role in delivering high-quality swimming instruction, promoting water safety, and supporting swimmer development across our school and club programs.
Junior Swim Coach – School Programme
This role focuses primarily on delivering swimming lessons within our school programme, working with swimmers of varying ages and abilities, with a particular emphasis on younger groups.
Working Hours:
- Typically, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Monday to Friday (subject to programme requirements)
Junior Swim Coach – Club Programme
This role focuses primarily on our club and leisure programmes, teaching swimmers approximately 3–13 years across Learn to Swim, Technique Development, and Technique Enhancement levels.
Working Hours:
- Typically, 2:30 PM – 8:30 PM
- Includes weekday afternoon and evening sessions (subject to programme requirements)
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, engaging, and effective swimming lessons.
- Follow programme plans and coaching guidelines.
- Support swimmers in developing confidence, technique, and water safety skills.
- Monitor swimmer progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate attendance and lesson records.
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment at all times.
- Set up and store equipment before and after sessions.
- Communicate professionally with swimmers, parents, schools, and colleagues.
- Assist with swim assessments, events, and programme activities as required.
- Adhere to all safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies.
Requirements
- Swim coaching or swimming teaching certification.
- Lifeguard and/or First Aid certification.
- Previous experience within Learn to Swim or competitive swimming programmes.
- Experience working in schools, swim clubs, or aquatic centers.
