Job Overview
We are seeking passionate and energetic instructors specialized in martial arts disciplines such as Jiu-jitsu, Boxing, MMA (Mixed Martial Arts), Kickboxing, Judo, Wrestling, and traditional martial arts to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will inspire students of all ages and skill levels by delivering engaging, safe, and effective training sessions. Your expertise will help foster confidence, discipline, and physical fitness while promoting a positive and motivating environment. Duties
- Lead engaging martial arts classes across various disciplines including Jiu-jitsu, Boxing, MMA, Kickboxing, Judo, Wrestling, and traditional arts
- Develop tailored training programs that meet individual student needs and skill levels
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all training sessions
- Provide clear instruction on techniques, form, and sports-specific skills
- Manage behavior and motivate students to achieve their personal best while maintaining a positive environment
- Communicate effectively with students and parents about progress and goals
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of training areas and equipment
Requirements
- Proven experience in martial arts instruction with expertise in Jiu-jitsu, Boxing, MMA, Kickboxing, Judo, Wrestling or other traditional martial arts
- Demonstrated ability to teach sports-specific training instruction and coaching techniques
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage students of all ages
- Experience working with children or youth
- Knowledge of health club or gym environments is a plus
- Certifications such as AED operation and first aid are highly desirable
- Ability to manage behavior effectively and foster a respectful learning atmosphere
- Prior experience in sports coaching
