Role Description
Baseline is looking for an Internal Accountant to support our finance and operations team in managing contracts, financial reporting, tournament operations, and building scalable internal processes as we continue expanding across the region.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Contract & Financial Documentation Management
- Prepare, manage, and maintain contracts with partners, customers, and vendors.
- Track payment schedules and ensure compliance with contract terms.
- Support payment processing and prepare related financial documentation.
2. Tournament Revenue & Expense Management
- Calculate and consolidate tournament revenues and operational income.
- Monitor tournament expenses and reconcile payments with relevant stakeholders.
- Support budget tracking and financial performance monitoring across projects.
3. Internal Finance & Reporting
- Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow and manage accounts receivable/payable.
- Support management reporting and provide financial insights for decision-making.
- Ensure financial records and internal reports are accurate and up to date.
4. Collaboration with CFO & Tax Accountant
- Work directly with the Singapore-based CFO on reporting, financial operations, and internal controls.
- Use English in daily communication, reporting, and meetings.
- Coordinate with external tax accountants to prepare supporting documents, reconcile data, and ensure compliance with accounting and tax requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or related fields.
- 1–3 years of experience in internal accounting, finance operations, or related roles.
- Good command of English communication (written and spoken) for professional business communication.
- Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets; accounting software knowledge is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in startups or international working environments is a plus.
WORKING MODEL
- Hybrid working arrangement
- Primarily remote with flexibility to work independently.
- Expected to work from the office 1–2 days per week when required for meetings, collaboration sessions, or operational needs.
