Injection Molding Technician

This hands-on position requires expertise in injection molding setup, processing, and troubleshooting of ABS, Polycarbonate, and other resins, as well as robotics. Responsibilities include maintaining an organized work area, minimizing waste and achieving daily performance goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• • • Promote safety awareness, housekeeping, and organization.

• • • Ensure scheduled machines produce quality products at standard BOM cycles with minimal waste.

• • • Perform timely mold and color changeovers.

• • • Start and operate 3 and 6 axis robots efficiently.

• • • Troubleshoot molds, machines, and robots as required.

• • • Communicate with maintenance, lead and/or department manager regarding breakdowns and repairs.

• • • Maintain reliable attendance.

• • Mechanical aptitude.

• • Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with others.

• • Exposure to and willingness to learn about robotics

EXPERIENCE

Minimum two years of experience in injection mold changing processing and troubleshooting.
