Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Horseback riding instructor to join our team, whether it is to teach English or Western Riding. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equestrian sports and a commitment to educating and developing riders of all skill levels. This role involves teaching riding techniques, managing behavior, and fostering a positive learning environment for students. The Equestrian Coach will work closely with riders to enhance their skills, confidence, and understanding of equestrian practices.
Instructors are paid for lessons taught per hour, and/or other hours put into barn managing or other labor.
Duties
- Educate students on various riding techniques and horse care practices.
- Develop individualized training programs tailored to the needs of each rider.
- Manage behavior during lessons to ensure a safe and productive environment.
- Conduct assessments of riders’ skills and progress regularly.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their performance.
- Organize and lead group lessons, clinics, and riding events.
- Maintain the safety and well-being of both riders and horses during training sessions.
- Collaborate with other coaches or staff members to enhance the overall program.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Horseback Riding Instruction
- Skills in behavior management to effectively guide students.
- Experience working with diverse groups of students, including those with varying skill levels.
- Knowledge of horse care, grooming, and riding safety protocols.

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
