Duties
- Teach fundamental techniques such as batting, pitching, fielding, and base running while emphasizing safety and proper form.
- Motivate students to achieve their personal best through encouragement, constructive feedback, and behavior management.
- Coordinate with school staff to ensure compliance with athletic policies and academic requirements.
- Foster teamwork and sportsmanship by promoting respectful communication among players, coaches, officials, and spectators.
- Monitor student-athletes’ health and well-being during practices and competitions; address minor injuries or concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Prior experience in sports coaching, particularly softball
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to maintain discipline during practices and games.
- Experience with childcare or youth supervision is highly desirable.
- Certifications or training in lifesaving skills such as First Aid CPR.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities, motivate students, and foster a positive team culture.
