Elevate your tennis career as the Head Tennis Professional with the Town of Newmarket. This role focuses on leading tennis lessons while ensuring a safe, inclusive environment for all participants.
In this leadership position, you will plan and deliver a range of tennis lessons while cooperating closely with the Recreation Programmer to oversee day-to-day operations. Your responsibilities include providing top-notch customer service to players of all ages and levels, facilitating communication regarding safety and program feedback, and supporting other coaches. You’ll manage tryouts for leagues and ensure each program runs smoothly throughout the season.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan private, semi-private, and group tennis lessons
• Assist with club operations and program oversight
• Ensure quality service to participants and their guardians
• Communicate safety and operational concerns effectively
• Lead and support fellow coaches with lesson planning
Requirements:
• Minimum 4.0 NTRP playing level
• 5+ years in a club setting
• Preferred TPA Club Pro 2 certification
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C certification
• Available to work evenings and weekends
