Terms of Employment
This is a part-time, year-round position, up to 19 hours per week. The hourly rate is $35 to $40 per hour based on experience.
Job Summary
The Head Swim Coach is responsible for performing all tasks, duties, and actions associated with leading and managing the daily and seasonal needs of the Nantucket Community School’s swim team. These duties include supervision of coaching personnel and program development.
Qualifications
- Experience as head coach or assistant coach
- Ability to run and manage swim meets
- Certified in one or more of the following: CPR/AED, Lifeguard Training, and First Aid or Safety Training for Swim Coaches (or willing to obtain)
- Experience with Team Unify, New England Swimming, and Colorado Timing Systems is preferred
- Experience working with children and teens
- Computer literate in Google Suite and/or initiative to learn other computer programs as needed
