About The Project
We are building a highly ambitious, zero-to-one product: The "Lovable" for E-commerce.
Imagine a platform where merchants, creators, and founders can build fully functional, uniquely designed, and highly optimized e-commerce storefronts and backends using just natural language.
We are moving past drag-and-drop. We are building an AI-native engine that translates prompts into production-ready code (Frontend UIs, backend logic, database schemas, and payment integrations) specifically tailored for the e-commerce industry.
To achieve this, we need a Head of Technology—a visionary hacker, a deep AI expert, and a hardcore builder who still loves getting their hands dirty in the codebase.
The "Vibe Code" Culture:
We believe in "Vibe Coding". You aren't just a manager who sits in meetings and draws architecture diagrams. You are a builder who achieves flow state. You use Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, and LLMs to write code at lightning speed. You care about not only elegant abstractions, but also more about shipping magic to users.
Responsibilities
- Zero-to-One Architecture: Design and build the core prompt-to-code engine from scratch. You will define how natural language translates into e-commerce components (React, Next.js, Tailwind) and backend logic.
- Deep AI Integration: Build complex AI pipelines using state-of-the-art LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models). Implement RAG, Agentic workflows, and fine-tuning to make the code-generation highly accurate for e-commerce use cases.
- Generative UI Development: Create the infrastructure that allows the AI to render dynamic, interactive e-commerce shopping experiences in real-time.
- Hands-on Coding: Spend at least 60-70% of your time in the IDE. You will write the most complex parts of the system.
- Product Visionary: Partner with the Business Director, CEO to shape the product roadmap. Translate wild product ideas into technical realities.
- Build the Dream Team: Recruit, mentor, and lead a lean, elite team of AI engineers and full-stack developers.
Qualifications
The Hard Skills:
- Extensive AI/LLM Experience: Deep understanding of Generative AI. You have built applications using OpenAI APIs, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or built custom AI agents. You understand how to constrain LLMs to output valid, production-ready code (JSON, ASTs, React components).
- Modern Web Stack: Expert-level knowledge of modern frontend and backend frameworks (e.g., TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, TailwindCSS).
- E-commerce Domain Knowledge: You understand the anatomy of an e-commerce platform (Product Catalogs, Carts, Checkout flows, Shopify/WooCommerce APIs, Stripe integrations).
- Code Generation Expertise: Familiarity with AST (Abstract Syntax Trees), compilers, or how platforms like Lovable, Vercel v0, or Cursor work under the hood is a massive plus.
The Profile & Vibe
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years leading technical teams and a strong recent focus on GenAI.
- Startup DNA: You thrive in chaos. You prefer shipping fast and iterating over endless planning.
- Hands-on Leader: You are a "Player-Coach." You refuse to let your coding skills rust.
- High Agency: You don't wait for tasks. You figure out what needs to be done and you do it.
