The Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) is seeking a visionary, highly organised and strategic leader to join the organisation as Head of National Team.
The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in overseeing the management and coordination of FABD's national teams, supporting the continued professionalisation of the national team structure and driving high-performance standards across the organisation.
We are looking for an experienced football management professional with a strong background in elite sports operations and the leadership capabilities required to support Brunei Darussalam's national teams on the international stage.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead the professionalisation and optimisation of FABD's national team operations. Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee the coordination and day-to-day management of all FABD national teams, ensuring alignment with the organisation's long-term technical objectives.
- Manage logistical arrangements, including travel, accommodation, equipment and administrative requirements for national team activities.
- Supervise coaches, team managers and multidisciplinary support staff, while working closely with the Technical Director to maintain a consistent football philosophy and high-performance standards.
- Monitor national team progress and performance, manage departmental budgets responsibly and prepare comprehensive performance reports and strategic recommendations for the President and Executive Committee.
Qualifications & Experience
- A minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in football management, elite sports operations or national team administration.
- Playing or coaching experience is considered an advantage.
- Experience working with football teams, sports programmes or competitions is an advantage.
- A Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Physical Education or a related field is preferred.
