You own the technical and strategic architecture of how 1,500+ internal team members evolve their skills to meet global standards. You are not a "trainer" or a "facilitator"; you are the lead architect responsible for building "The Academy"—ensuring every learning initiative is rooted in rigor, measured by business impact (ROI), and aligned with an AI-enabled future.
This is an internal leadership role that exists to stabilize and scale the "learning plumbing" of GoTeam. You lead from the ground, mentoring a dedicated L&D team and collaborating with executive leadership to convert professional mastery into a competitive advantage. Best suited for professionals who prefer hands-on ownership, data-driven rigor, and responsibility that directly impacts organizational scale and future-readiness.
You're Likely a Strong Fit If You Have
- 7–15 years in Learning & Development, with at least 3–5 years in a senior or leadership capacity
- Bachelor's degree in HRD, Organizational Psychology, Instructional Design, or related field; Master's preferred
- Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPTD), CIPD, or equivalent L&D accreditation
- Proven track record in designing and executing measurable, enterprise-wide learning programs
- Proficiency in instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, Bloom's Taxonomy, 70-20-10)
- Strong command of adult learning principles, competency frameworks, and performance-based assessment
- Experience with LMS platforms (Cornerstone, Docebo, Moodle, or equivalent) and e-learning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or similar)
- Ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team while collaborating with executive stakeholders
- Data-driven mindset using frameworks like Kirkpatrick or Phillips ROI to track and report program impact
- Experience leveraging AI tools in learning design, content automation, or curriculum personalization
- Comfortable working fully onsite in Cebu City during day shift (7 AM–4 PM, Monday–Friday)

Responsibility Pillars
Learning Architecture & Strategy You own the blueprints for professional mastery, ensuring the internal curriculum is scalable and performance-focused.
- Design and execute a company-wide L&D strategy aligned with internal scaling goals
- Architect simulation-based learning pathways that reduce time-to-proficiency for new roles
- Audit existing training modules to ensure integration of AI tools and modern workflows
L&D Team Leadership You transform the learning department into a high-performance unit through clear standards and accountability.
- Mentor and manage the L&D team to ensure consistent program delivery and instructional quality
- Enforce disciplined design, testing, and iteration cycles for all new learning programs
- Standardize the "learning plumbing"—SOPs, tools, and platforms—to eliminate operational noise
Impact Analytics & Governance You act as the guardian of learning quality, ensuring every hour spent training translates into measurable business growth.
- Implement data-driven assessment metrics to track the effectiveness of all initiatives
- Generate high-level reports for executive leadership on learning outcomes and ROI
- Intervene proactively in underperforming programs to refine content based on real-world impact
