We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and energetic High School Girls Basketball Coach to lead our student-athletes to success. The ideal candidate will inspire players to reach their full potential while upholding the values of sportsmanship, discipline, and academic achievement.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and conduct effective practice sessions and game strategies.
- Teach fundamental and advanced skills while emphasizing teamwork and respect.
- Oversee athlete conditioning, safety, and performance development.
- Maintain communication with parents, athletic directors, and school staff.
- Support the academic progress and personal growth of all team members.
- Ensure compliance with LHSAA regulations and school policies.
Qualifications
- Previous coaching or playing experience in basketball (high school or higher level preferred).
- Knowledge of rules, strategies, and conditioning techniques.
- Strong leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
- Preferred:
Teaching certification or a commitment to obtain certification. - Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
