Head Coach Women’s Soccer Jobs in Geneseo, NY at SUNY Geneseo
The SUNY Geneseo Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreation, a part of the Division of Student and Campus Life, seeks qualified candidates for the position of Head Coach for Women’s Soccer.
This full-time, 10-month, fully-benefited position will coordinate and oversee all aspects of the women’s soccer program and will be assigned a secondary duty or duties based on the skill set of the selected candidate and the needs of the department (eg: game management).
In this role, you will be responsible for administering all aspects of the program with specific duties including but not limited to:
- effective recruitment and retention of qualified student-athletes;
- individual skill development of student-athletes;
- scheduling;
- budget preparation and management;
- participation in department fundraising, community service, and alumni engagement efforts;
- monitoring academic performance;
- adherence to all NCAA, Empire 8, and SUNY Geneseo rules and regulations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 years coaching experience at the collegiate level
- Demonstrated ability to recruit and retain student-athletes who are committed to academic and athletic excellence
- Demonstrated commitment to the campus values of diversity, equity and inclusion

- Master’s degree
- Head coaching experience at the collegiate level
