Job Summary
Head coaches will provide interactive and well‑rounded training, observe player approaches, outline corrective techniques, and minimize preventable injuries. They will schedule and spearhead practices, outline all rules and expectations, strengthen teamwork and camaraderie, model commendable sportsmanship, and encourage safe sporting practices.
Qualifications
To successfully perform this position, a person must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Volleyball experience required.
- Previous coaching experience preferred.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must successfully complete and maintain compliance with all federal and state background and criminal record‑check requirements.
- Must adhere to all local, state, federal, and school code requirements for employment.
- Must meet DASD procedures for transporting students (including motor vehicle record check).
