Position: Head Coach for Ultimate Frisbee Team
Lead and inspire the CEGEP Heritage College Mixed Ultimate Frisbee program. This role focuses on athlete training, game management, and academic support for student athletes.
As Head Coach, you will play a pivotal role within the athletic team, reporting to the Coordinator of Student Services. Your responsibilities include developing dynamic training schedules, overseeing practices and games, and supervising student athletes during competitions. You will also actively participate in recruiting and ensure academic excellence throughout the season.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruit potential student-athletes for the program
• Design and implement annual training schedules
• Coach practices and games for optimal performance
• Ensure academic follow-up with each student-athlete
• Promote CEGEP Heritage College’s programs at events
Requirements:
• NCCP Train to Compete level or equivalent
• 2+ years coaching experience in Ultimate Frisbee
• Strong English communication; functional French required
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently
