Head Coach – KidsUnited (Youth Soccer & Child Development) Jobs in Nanuet, NY at KidsUnited Nanuet
If you’re the kind of coach that kids run to and parents trust immediately, keep reading.
At KidsUnited, we help kids ages 1.5-9 build confidence through Life, Body, and Soccer Skills — in a high-energy, structured, and fun environment.
We’re hiring a Head Coach to own coaching quality and set the tone for the entire club.
This is a player-coach role: You’ll coach 25+ classes per week while developing the rest of the coaching team.
Who This Role is Really For
This role is for a coach who:
- Naturally connects with young kids (ages 2–9)
- Brings energy, warmth, and personality every single session
- Makes parents feel comfortable and confident within minutes
- Loves developing beginners — not just advanced players
You do not need to be a high-level or travel coach. You do need to be exceptional with kids and people.
What You’ll Do
Set the Standard
- Run high-energy, structured classes that kids love and parents trust
- Be the example of what great coaching looks like
Coach 25+ Classes / Week
- Lead sessions for ages 2–9 (Parent & Me + beginner development)
- Keep classes fast-paced, engaging, and organized
- Balance fun with real skill development
Develop Coaches
- Help other coaches improve their energy, structure, and communication
- Give simple, direct feedback that makes them better quickly
Connect with Parents
- Communicate clearly and confidently about their child’s progress

- Kids immediately gravitate toward you
- You’re naturally energetic, positive, and engaging
- You’re just as comfortable talking to parents as you are with kids
- You take pride in doing things the right way, every time
- You want to grow into a leadership role, not just coach
This Role is NOT for You If…
- You prefer coaching older, competitive/travel players
- You struggle to bring energy to younger age groups
- You don’t enjoy interacting with parents
- You want a low-accountability environment
Must-Have Experience
- Experience working with young children (coaching, camps, teaching, etc.)
- Ability to lead structured, high-energy group activities
- Strong communication skills with kids and adults
Strong Fit Backgrounds
- Grassroots or entry-level coaching license
- Former player who enjoys working with beginners
- Customer-facing or hospitality experience

- Weekends: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
