Madison Junior High School is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Girls Volleyball Coach. Madison Junior High School is committed to providing an excellence experience in both academics and athletics.

Position Overview:

The Volleyball Coach will be responsible for leading and developing a competitive volleyball program that instills discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship in all student-athletes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective coaching strategies to enhance the performance and skill development of all student-athletes.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes academic achievement, personal growth, community involvement, and sportsmanship.
• Collaborate with the athletic department, school administration, assistant coach(s) and parents to create a supportive and engaging environment for the volleyball program.
• Coordinate and execute offseason training programs to enhance players’ physical conditioning and overall performance.
• Demonstrate a commitment to the academic success and character development of all student-athletes.
• Promoting student-athletes, growing the program, and building the program for the future.
• Help manage the volleyball program at all levels, youth, middle and high school.

Qualifications:

• Teaching certification preferred
• Coaching experience at the high school level or higher
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of volleyball strategies, techniques, and safety protocols
• Ability to positively influence and mentor student-athletes
