Xcel Competitive Team Coach
Rising Star Gymnastics is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Xcel Competitive Team Coach to join our growing program. We are looking for a positive, motivated coach who is passionate about athlete development, values proper progressions and technique, and enjoys helping gymnasts build confidence both in and out of the gym.
Responsibilities
- Coach athletes in the USA Gymnastics Xcel program (Bronze–Diamond, depending on experience)
- Teach proper technique, skill progressions, flexibility, strength, and conditioning
- Create engaging, organized, and productive practice plans
- Safely spot skills and maintain a strong focus on athlete safety
- Prepare athletes for competitions, including routine development and meet readiness
- Attend competitions and represent the gym professionally
- Monitor athlete progress and communicate with families when needed
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and team-first training environment
- Work collaboratively with coaching staff to continue growing our competitive program
Qualifications
- Previous competitive gymnastics coaching experience (Xcel and/or DP preferred)
- Strong knowledge of skill progressions and safe spotting techniques
- Experience coaching vault, bars, beam, and floor
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and reliability
- Ability to motivate athletes while maintaining high expectations
- USA Gymnastics Professional Membership, SafeSport, and CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred (or willingness to obtain)

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
