Duties
- Lead structured gymnastics classes, demonstrating proper techniques and encouraging participation
- Design age-appropriate lesson plans that promote skill development, safety, and enjoyment
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to foster improvement
- Enforce safety protocols, including proper attire, proper use of equipment, and behavior management strategies
- Assist with setting up and maintaining gym equipment, ensuring a clean and organized space
- Support students in developing confidence through positive reinforcement and encouragement
- Collaborate with other instructors to create a cohesive training environment that promotes teamwork and sportsmanship
Requirements
- Prior experience in gymnastics instruction and/or commitment to learning
- Knowledge of gymnastics coaching, experience being a gymnast, active or former
- Strong background in child development or working with children of various ages
- Ability to manage behavior effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
- Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for teaching physical activity
- Certifications in health clubs or gyms are beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to obtain relevant certifications is required
