Position: Group Instructor for Aqua Fitness Classes
Location: Southwestern Ontario
Join Movati in Waterloo as an Aqua Fitness Group Instructor and help members feel welcome and healthy through engaging classes. This role is perfect for fitness enthusiasts who thrive in a high-energy environment.
As a key member of the team, you will report to the Group Fitness Manager and provide high-quality instruction suitable for all fitness levels. Your positive attitude will help foster a fun atmosphere, delivering memorable class experiences. You’ll also be responsible for soliciting feedback and improving class offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct aqua fitness classes for all skill levels
• Follow standardized training practices for instruction
• Develop and maintain member relationships for engagement
• Start and end classes on schedule consistently
• Create a welcoming fitness environment for all participants
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
• At least 1 year of related group fitness experience
• Must possess a recognized fitness instruction certification
• Additional specialized certifications are beneficial
• Nutrition certifications are a plus
