Group Fitness Coach Jobs in Orlando, USA at XYMOGEN
XYMOGYM is seeking a passionate, high-energy Group Fitness Coach to lead motivating and engaging classes for our members. Instructors will be responsible for delivering fun, safe, and effective group workouts while creating a positive community atmosphere. This role also involves serving as a fitness ambassador who embodies XYMOGYM’s values, delivers consistent class experiences, and contributes to the growth and cohesion of the member community.

Responsibilities
- Serve as a fitness ambassador: Represent XYMOGYM in a professional, approachable manner; embody motivation, inclusivity, and healthy living.
- Follow class formats: Understand and follow pre programmed formats written by XYMOGYM.
- Lead warm-ups and cool-downs with intention: Build safe, dynamic warm-ups and structured cool-downs that reduce injury risk and enhance recovery.
- Provide post-class follow-up: Offer brief check-ins or micro-coaching after class to reinforce goals and encourage ongoing participation.
- Support onboarding for new members: Assist with newcomer orientations, demos, and introductory sessions to acclimate new members to the gym and culture.
- Foster a culture of feedback: Encourage member feedback, collaborate with managers to implement improvements, and participate in routine instructor meetings.
- Adapt to facility events: Be flexible to participate in special events, fundraisers, or corporate wellness programs beyond standard classes.
- Mentor junior instructors: When applicable, provide guidance and support to newer instructors, sharing best practices.
- Safety continuity planning: Prepare contingency plans for class disruptions (e.g., equipment failure, space constraints, weather-related issues).
- Professional development planning: Collaborate with leadership to identify growth opportunities, certifications, and cross-training initiatives.
- Accessibility and inclusivity: Proactively adapt instructions and equipment options to ensure accessibility for all members, including older adults and people with varying abilities.

Pay Structure
Instructors are compensated per class blased on attendance:
- Payouts are biweekly (typically every other Tuesday/Wednesday).
- Payment options include check or direct deposit
Scheduling
Group Fitness schedules are created based on instructor availability and gym needs. Flexibility is encouraged, with opportunities to cover additional classes as needed.
