Are you passionate about creating meaningful social impact? We are seeking an experienced philanthropy professional to lead grant-making initiatives, foster strategic partnerships, and drive community-focused programs that make a lasting difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, analyze, and manage funding applications, providing strategic recommendations while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, governance standards, and community needs.
- Identify emerging social needs and proactively develop new initiatives through partnerships with government agencies, universities, non-profit organizations, and other key stakeholders.
- Oversee grant administration, including funding conditions, budget monitoring, expenditure reviews, and the preparation of financial, statistical, and progress reports.
- Monitor funded projects to ensure timely delivery, achievement of agreed outcomes, and adherence to approved scope and budget.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with grantees, community partners, and stakeholders through regular engagement, site visits, events, and other partnership activities.
- Conduct research on social issues, funding opportunities, and sector developments to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare presentations, reports, speeches, and communication materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and execution of strategies that enhance organizational impact and community outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Minimum of 10–12 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 7 years in a senior leadership capacity.
- Strong background in one or more of the following sectors: social welfare, education, sports, arts and culture, public administration, philanthropy, or grant-making.
- Deep understanding of community development, charitable funding, and social impact initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience managing relationships with senior stakeholders, including government officials, academic institutions, public bodies, foundations, and non-profit organizations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, multiple priorities, and cross-sector collaborations.
