Position Summary:

Quincy College is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead its NJCAA Division 3 men’s golf program. Reporting to the Director of Athletics, this part-time position, based on the Quincy campus, is responsible for the overall direction, leadership, and development of the golf program. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to building a competitive and inclusive team culture, fostering the academic and athletic success of student-athletes, and upholding the values and standards of QC Athletics.

Key Responsibilities.

Serve as head coach, and direct all aspects of the men’s golf program, including training, game planning, and competitive performance.
Recruit, evaluate, and retain student-athletes who embody the academic and athletic standards of Q.
Support student-athlete development on and off the court, including academic success, leadership, and well-being.
Ensure program compliance with all NJCAA, Region 21 regulations and policies.
Oversee the management of men’s golf team operations, including (but not limited to) travel, scheduling, and equipment.
Engage with alumni, campus departments, and community partners to promote the program.
Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and mutual respect within the team.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 1-3 years of successful Jr. college/ high School coaching experience
Demonstrated success in recruiting and developing student athletes.
Strong understanding of NJCAA rules and regulations.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
