Leon Cycle is an e-bike business that was established in Germany in 2014 and has since developed business operations in over 10 countries across Europe, North America and APAC. Leon Cycle offers a range of e-bike models from mountain bikes, EMTB, folding e-bikes, trekking e-bikes and step thru e-bikes. Our range of products are sold via both our own online website as well as E-Commerce platforms and via our dealers and our own retail stores worldwide.
Shanghai is the global commercial headquarter of Leon Cycle. we are blessed with a group of very multicultural colleagues within our office with native English speakers all working together.
Currently we are hiring a Global Talent Acquisition, your task will involve:
- Sourcing for Sales and operations Directors across over 10 countries (USA, Canda, Holland, UK, Germany, France, Spain, Australia, China) within the e-bike and bike industry.
- Conduct first round initial interviews with potential candidates from across Europe and APAC) and shortlist with detailed commentary on their suitability both from a technical and soft skills compatibility.
- Present shortlisted candidates to Global HR Head for review and assist in scheduling follow ups / second round interviews.
- Assist with offer preparation, contract signing and on-boarding.
- Assist with coordination with overseas HR and payroll agency on contract signing and if necessary, collecting personal info and data for payroll administration.
- Act as a backup to overseas payroll and C&B
- Follow up newly onboarded employees to ensure they settle in well
- Other staffing and recruiting matters as and when needed, including Shanghai HQ staffing of marketing, retail and sales professionals.
Ideally we are looking for someone with:
- A brilliant and outgoing personality who is great with people with empathy and passion about helping someone with their career move.
- Native English communications and/or born and raised/grew up in an English-speaking country, additional language abilities in another European language highly regarded.
- Enjoys speaking with strangers and is unafraid of picking up the phone to make that first contact, aka: cold calling.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver results in a timely manner.
- 5 years or so of working experience in a client facing / dealing with people type of role.
- Recruitment experience highly regarded.
- Enjoys sports and working in a multinational team environment.
