Girls Competitive Team Coach Jobs in Chappaqua, NY at World Cup Gymnastics
Primary Function:
Performs responsible team program building including, coaching, planning, scheduling and recruiting. Assists in managing and directing the gymnastics program. Work is performed under general supervision of the Head Gymnastics Coach.
Principle Job Duties:
- Assists the head coach in managing and directing the gymnastics program.
- Assists the Head Gymnastics Coach with all aspects of the team including training, competing and scheduling.
- Assists with daily instruction and spotting of team members on all apparatus.
- Helps coordinates travel arrangements.
- Commits to and is responsible for adhering to all rules and regulations set forth for the team, World Cup Gymnastics, and USA Gymnastic with the utmost integrity.
- Completes other assigned administrative duties.
- Coordinates facility needs of visiting teams.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to recruit, coach and teach highly talented athletes.
- Athletic background or experience in dance, cheer or gymnastics is a plus.
- A proven record in following directives and being responsible for tasks which have been assigned.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to attend seminars, meetings and other professional development opportunities at or away from World Cup Gymnastics.
- Ability to organize work effectively, conceptualize and prioritize objectives and exercise independent judgment based on an understanding of organizational policies and activities.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the public.
- Ability to communicate effectively – orally, by phone, in person, and in writing.
- Ability to respond to emergency situations in a timely manner.
- Ability to use a personal computer and other office equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

- Gymnastics Coaching: 2 years (Preferred)
