D-BAT Cranberry is opening Fall 2026 and is looking for an energetic, entrepreneurial General Manager to lead our facility from opening day and help establish us as the premier destination for baseball and softball training in the region.

About D-BAT Cranberry
D-BAT is the nation’s premier baseball and softball training franchise, offering state-of-the-art batting cages, professional instruction, memberships, camps, clinics, birthday parties, team training, and a fully stocked Pro Shop.
Our 21,000-square-foot facility will feature:

Position Summary
The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, growth, and profitability of D-BAT Cranberry.
This individual will oversee all daily operations while driving revenue growth, delivering exceptional customer experiences, developing staff, and building strong relationships throughout the local baseball and softball community.
The General Manager will report directly to the ownership team and will be expected to lead by example with a hands-on leadership style.
What You’ll DoSales & Business Development
- Grow memberships, lessons, camps, clinics, rentals, retail sales, and special events
- Develop and execute local marketing initiatives
- Build relationships with local schools, Little Leagues, travel organizations, coaches, and community groups
- Create partnerships that increase visibility and drive new business
- Analyze business performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue goals
- Maintain strong customer retention through exceptional service
Facility Operations
- Oversee all day-to-day operations
- Ensure exceptional customer experiences from check-in through departure
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming facility
- Coordinate scheduling for lessons, rentals, instructors, and events
- Ensure compliance with D-BAT operating standards and safety procedures
- Manage inventory and retail operations
Team Leadership
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop staff
- Lead Assistant Managers, Front Desk Associates, and Instructors
- Foster a positive, energetic workplace culture
- Conduct coaching, performance reviews, and ongoing development
- Create staff schedules and manage labor budgets
- Hold team members accountable to customer service and operational expectations
Community Engagement
Become the face of D-BAT Cranberry by:
- Attending local tournaments and community events
- Networking with coaches and organizations
- Promoting D-BAT throughout the region
- Supporting local baseball and softball programs
- Creating long-lasting relationships with athletes and families
Financial Management
- Manage facility P&L performance
- Monitor labor and operating expenses
- Track KPIs and sales metrics
- Achieve monthly revenue and membership goals
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability
QualificationsRequired
- 3+ years of management or leadership experience
- Proven success leading customer-focused teams
- Sales and business development experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
Preferred
- Baseball or softball playing, coaching, or training experience
- Experience managing youth sports programs
- Retail or hospitality management experience
- Small business or entrepreneurial experience
- Experience managing P&L performance
- College degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or related field
