Gear Shop Associate / Front Desk Team Member

Full-Time Position
Deep River Sporting Clays is looking for a dependable, outgoing, and customer-focused full-time team member to join our front desk and gear shop staff. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and being part of the outdoor sporting industry.
Responsibilities
- Greeting customers and checking shooters in
- Operating point-of-sale system and handling transactions
- Answering phones and assisting customers with questions
- Assisting customers with purchases including ammunition, apparel, accessories, and shooting equipment
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and retail area
- Scheduling reservations and assisting with events and tournaments
- Restocking merchandise and helping manage inventory
- Providing excellent customer service to both new and experienced shooters to ensure they have the BEST TIME EVER!
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced customer service environment
- Basic computer and cash handling experience preferred
- Interest in firearms, sporting clays, or outdoor recreation is a plus
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays (WEEKEND BUSINESS)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light-to-moderate merchandise

Forklift certification, any kind of warehouse experience, firearm knowledge.
