HomeTeam Network is seeking a versatile, high-energy, and professional Game Day Live Stream Coordinator to join our sports production team for the duration of the AFI home game season. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the physical setup and technical operation of audio/video equipment while acting as a key representative of our brand on-site for each AFI home game throughout the season. This role is perfect for a "jack-of-all-trades" technician who loves Football, thrives in fast-paced environments, and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to clients and venue staff.
Role Dates: Arrive 4 hours before the game, monitor through the game, wrap up and professionally pack equipment to be stored for the next game – 8-10 hours each of these days

Contract Rate: $200 USD per Game Day
Role Description:
This is a contract on-site role located at MVP Arena, 51 South Pearl Street, Albany, NY 12207, US for a Game Day Live Stream Coordinator. Responsibilities include setting up and Responsibilities include setting up and monitoring live streaming equipment, managing video production during sports events, troubleshooting technical issues in real-time, and ensuring high-quality broadcast standards. The role also involves coordinating with team officials and possibly creating brief highlights from live footage. Contractor may also invoice up to 2 hours of pre/post game meetings & training per game day.
Camera & Video Operations
- Setup & Strike: Execute partial setup and teardown of camera systems, running SDI/HDMI cabling, and securing camera positions for optimal broadcast angles.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve on-site video signal issues immediately, including cabling faults, converter problems, and monitor feed interruptions.
- Operation: Assist with camera operation during live broadcasts, ensuring proper framing, focus, and exposure standards are met.
Client Relations & Professionalism
- Brand Ambassador: Act as the face of HomeTeam Live while on location. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, as you will be working in client facilities.
- Stakeholder Communication: Interact respectfully and clearly with venue staff, athletic directors, and coaches to coordinate access, power needs, and setup locations.
- Conflict Resolution: Handle on-site challenges with a "customer-first" attitude, ensuring client satisfaction even when technical difficulties arise.
- Site Cleanliness: Ensure the production workspace is kept organized and safe, leaving the venue in excellent condition upon departure.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating live streaming equipment and video production tools
- Skills in troubleshooting basic technical issues during live broadcasts
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to perform under pressure
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with team personnel and stakeholders
- Basic video editing skills to create content highlights (preferred)
- Experience or interest in sports broadcasting (a plus)
- Flexible schedule to accommodate game day needs, including evenings and weekends
