Role Description
We are seeking a Freelance Director/Producer for a contract role based on-location in the Central Belt/West of Scotland.
The Director/Producer will oversee the, execution, and delivery of live broadcasts and recorded content. Responsibilities include coordinating with production teams, directing multi-camera shoots, creating content plans, and ensuring high-quality outputs that align with the company’s vision. The role involves working directly at lower level sporting events
Qualifications
- Experience in directing and producing live and recorded video content, with a strong knowledge of multi-camera operations.
- Proficiency in setting up production equipment – Atem Mini Pro, Rodecaster Pro, Hollyland Pyro H plus Canon XF300/205 cameras.
- Experience in storytelling and crafting narratives for engaging video and audio content.
- Knowledge of lower level sports (especially football) and a passion for supporting underrepresented communities in sports coverage is a strong advantage.
- Proficiency with video editing and post-production software is a plus.
- Ability to work on-location in and around Glasgow City and flexibility to adapt to live event schedules.
