The High School Offensive Coordinator is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the offensive side of the football program. This position plays a vital role in developing student-athletes both on and off the field by fostering discipline, accountability, leadership and teamwork. The Offensive Coordinator works closely with the Head Coach and coaching staff to build a competitive, well-prepared, and fundamentally sound offense that reflects the values and standards of Lexington Senior High School.
Qualifications
- Previous high school or collegiate football coaching experience (offense preferred)
- Strong knowledge of offensive schemes, formations and situational football
- Ability to teach and communicate effectively with student-athletes
- Demonstrate leadership skills and ability to build positive relationships
- Commitment to developing student-athletes academically, athletically and socially
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, administration, parents and community stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior Offensive Coordinator or Head Coaching Experience
- Experience using film breakdown and scouting software (Hudl)
- Teaching License or eligibility for employment within the school district
