We're launching a brand-new fitness and wellness offering as part of an ambitious expansion by a leading Dubai-based luxury lifestyle and hospitality group. This is a ground-floor opportunity to build a premium fitness centre from the ground up — shaping the member experience, the team, and the commercial model from day one.

We're looking for a proactive, commercially-minded Fitness Centre Manager who thrives on ownership and is excited by the challenge of launching something new within an established, high-profile organisation.

The Opportunity

This is a newly created role supporting the launch of a fitness and wellness extension within a premium leisure destination. You'll be instrumental in setting up operations, building the team, and driving the commercial success of the facility from its earliest days — not stepping into an established structure, but building one.

What You'll Own

Facility & Launch Operations

• Lead the setup and day-to-day operations of a new fitness facility and swimming pool area, ensuring a safe, premium, member-first environment from day one
• Own vendor and equipment relationships, ensuring everything is maintained, compliant, and running at the standard our members expect
• Implement health & safety procedures and operational policies for a new facility

Team Building & Leadership

• Recruit, train, and lead a new team of personal trainers, instructors, and fitness staff
• Set the performance culture from scratch — KPIs, service standards, and team development

Commercial & Revenue Growth

• Take full ownership of personal training revenue, membership growth, and retention as the business scales
• Develop and launch fitness programs, wellness initiatives, and member events that build the brand from the ground up
• Manage budgets, cost control, and revenue performance for a brand-new P&L

Partnerships

• Manage third-party wellness partners (e.g. physiotherapy, specialist trainers), negotiating commercial terms and ensuring service quality from the outset

Member Experience

• Define and deliver a premium, personalised member experience as the face of a new facility

What You Bring

• Certified Personal Trainer (REPs UAE / NASM / ACE or equivalent)
• CPR, First Aid & AED certification
• 3–5+ years in the fitness industry, including a supervisory or management role
• Experience in a premium gym, leisure club, or hospitality environment strongly preferred
• Degree in Sports Science, Fitness, or Kinesiology (desirable)
• A genuinely commercial mindset — comfortable owning revenue targets, not just delivering sessions
• A builder's mentality: energised by starting something new rather than maintaining the status quo
• Strong leadership presence, with the flexibility to work both on the gym floor and behind the scenes
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
