Position: Facility Support Operator for Athletic Services
Become a key player as a Facility Support Operator for Athletic Services at the University of Lethbridge. Engage in diverse operational tasks to maintain facility excellence.
This casual role reports to the Manager, Athletic & Recreation Facilities, focusing on ensuring all facilities, including the Centre for Sport and Wellness, are well maintained and ready for events. You will address maintenance tasks, assist with special events, and oversee daily operations across the athletic venues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage on-demand and preventive maintenance through WebTMA
• Prepare and manage bookings for events while providing first aid
• Support full-time staff in inspection and equipment tasks
• Conduct facility monitoring and assign daily responsibilities
• Handle janitorial duties, including pressure washing and snow removal
Requirements:
• Completion of High School Diploma
• Certification in Intermediate First Aid and CPR-C/AED
• Valid Class 5 driving license without excessive demerits
• Availability for morning, evening, and weekend shifts
• Strong focus on safety and facility care
