Job Overview:

The Facilities Project Assistant Manager supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of facilities-related projects at Al Qadsiah Club. This role assists in managing renovations, upgrades, new installations, and improvement projects across club facilities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist the Maintenance Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing facilities and infrastructure projects.

· Support project scheduling, budgeting, cost tracking, and progress reporting.

· Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.

· Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, timelines, and quality standards.

· Assist in reviewing drawings, method statements, material submittals, and project documentation.

· Track project milestones, risks, issues, and variations, and report them to management.

· Support site inspections, progress meetings, and coordination meetings with contractors.

· Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements across all project sites.

· Assist with handover processes, including snag lists, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and warranties.

· Maintain accurate project records, reports, and documentation.

Requirements

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical), Facilities Management, or a related field.

· Minimum 4–6 years of experience in facilities projects, construction, or project management, preferably in large facilities or sports environments.

· Good understanding of building systems, including MEP, civil, and architectural works.

· Experience supporting project budgets, schedules, and contractor coordination.

· Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools; experience with CMMS or project management software is an advantage.

· Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.


Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience working in sports clubs, stadiums, hospitality, or large mixed-use facilities.

· Knowledge of project management standards and basic contract administration.

· Familiarity with local regulations, safety standards, and permitting processes.

· Experience working with consultants, authorities, and multiple contractors.
