Duties
- Assess clients’ fitness levels, health history, and goals to create tailored exercise programs.
- Lead individual training sessions focusing on proper technique, safety, and effective workout strategies.
- Conduct group fitness classes that incorporate diverse exercise modalities to engage participants of all skill levels.
- Educate clients on body mechanics, anatomy, and physiology to enhance their understanding of movement and injury prevention.
- Demonstrate exercises, monitor progress, and modify routines as needed to ensure optimal results.
- Promote the benefits of physical activity and motivate clients to stay committed to their fitness plans.
- Support sales efforts by introducing new programs or services that align with clients’ interests and needs.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics essential for designing safe and effective workouts.
- Experience in personal training, sports coaching, or teaching physical education preferred.
- Ability to develop innovative program designs that cater to diverse client needs and fitness levels.
- Excellent communication skills for instructing groups and providing personalized feedback.
- Proven ability in fitness sales or promoting health club memberships is a plus.
- Certification in personal training or group fitness from a recognized organization is highly desirable.
