The Executive Producer will lead the editorial direction and day-to-day production of content across the Premier Sports portfolio in the UK and Ireland. The role is responsible for overseeing the planning, development and delivery of Premier Sports coverage across live broadcasts and associated programming.
Working closely with internal production teams, freelance crews, on-air talent and rights holders, the Executive Producer will ensure consistently high editorial and production standards across all live sporting events.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the editorial planning, production management, and successful delivery of coverage for major sporting events and competitions.
- Manage relationships with technical, operational, and facility partners, ensuring the highest standards of production delivery.
- Manage production budgets and resource allocation, ensuring cost-effective delivery while maintaining the highest editorial and production standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for rights holders, governing bodies, and broadcast partners, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- Provide constructive performance feedback to on-air talent and production teams, supporting continuous development and excellence in content delivery.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in sports television production, with a proven track record in delivering high-quality live sports content.
- Experience managing on-air talent, including talent development, performance management, and roster planning.
- Extensive experience leading and overseeing live broadcast operations, ensuring editorial, technical, and production excellence under tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with sports rights holders, governing bodies, broadcasters, and other external stakeholders.
- Experience managing multiple productions and competing priorities within a fast-paced environment.

- Strong editorial judgement and deep understanding of sport and sports audiences
- Proven ability to lead productions from concept through delivery
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work calmly and make good decisions in live production environments
- Understanding of modern, cost-efficient production technologies
- Ability to lead, manage and guide team and freelance contributors
Preferred Qualifications
- A relevant third-level qualification is desirable; however, significant professional experience in live sports production will be considered of greater importance.

- Hybrid role – 3 days minimum office based
