About the Role
Maple Grove Raceway is seeking an Events & Engagement Manager to join our leadership team and help elevate the experience for racers, fans, sponsors, promoters, and event partners.
This position is responsible for coordinating events, managing ticketing operations, overseeing stakeholder communications, supporting office operations, and assisting the General Manager in the day-to-day operation of the facility. The successful candidate will help ensure every event is professionally executed while maximizing fan engagement and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, event-focused environment.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate race events, specialty events, facility rentals, and partner activations.
* Manage ticketing operations, reporting, and customer service.
* Serve as a primary point of contact for racers, fans, sponsors, promoters, and event partners.
* Coordinate sponsor fulfillment and engagement initiatives.
* Maintain event schedules, timelines, and communication plans.
* Assist with guest experience programs and customer engagement efforts.
* Support office operations, administrative functions, and event-related documentation.
* Assist the General Manager with daily operational priorities and special projects.
* Work closely with facility operations staff to ensure successful event execution.
* Prepare post-event reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Assist with planning, budgeting, and operational coordination as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in event management, hospitality, sports, entertainment, customer service, or related fields.
* Sales, sponsorship, or relationship management experience preferred but not required.
* Strong organizational and project management skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
* Motorsports experience is a plus but not required.
Schedule Expectations
This is an event-driven position. Candidates should expect evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended workdays during the racing season and major events. At times, event schedules may require six- or seven-day work weeks.
The off-season generally provides greater schedule flexibility, planning time, and reduced operational hours.
