Role Description
Focus & Fabulous Events LLC is hiring a part-time Event Operations Manager to support the planning, preparation, staffing, logistics, and execution of luxury event activations. This role is based in the Richmond, VA area and includes both administrative coordination and onsite event leadership. The right candidate will help ensure events are organized, teams are prepared, and clients and guests receive a polished, seamless experience.
This position will begin part-time with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role for the right person. Evening and weekend availability is required, as many events take place outside of standard business hours.
Qualifications
Experience in event operations, hospitality, event planning, client service, or a related field
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate clearly with clients, team members, and vendors
Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and stay calm in a fast-paced event environment
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to event locations
Availability for evenings and weekends
Comfort using technology and digital tools in day-to-day operations
Ability to lead with professionalism and represent a luxury brand well
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in hospitality, events, weddings, brand activations, or venue operations
Experience managing staff, event logistics, or client-facing event execution
Familiarity with tools such as Connecteam, Google Calendar, Dropbox, and CRM or project management systems is a plus
