Event and community sports Jobs in New Delhi, Delhi, India at PlayAll Sports

Title: Event and community sports

Company: PlayAll Sports

Location: New Delhi, Delhi, India

About PlayAll

150+ sports events a year. 30+ venues across 10+ cities. 65,000+ players every month. Corporate clients like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, PwC, and EY trusting us with their teams. WhatsApp communities with 1,00,000+ players. And we're just getting started.

PlayAll is India's fastest-growing sports infrastructure company. We don't just book courts — we build world-class sports venues from the ground up and operate them end-to-end. We're scaling fast toward 100 venues, and the events and community sports function is at the heart of this growth. We need a sharp, driven leader to own it.

The Role

This is a three-in-one role — and that's exactly what makes it exciting.

You'll be the person Google's HR team calls when they want a sports day for 200 employees. You'll also be the person who picks up the phone and pitches PlayAll to the 50 corporates who should be calling us but don't know us yet. And behind the scenes, you'll be building the systems that make our tournament operations and pickup game communities run like clockwork — with 4 direct reports executing on the ground while you design the playbook.

If you've ever wanted a role where you close deals on Monday, redesign a process on Wednesday, and watch 500 people show up to a tournament you built on Saturday — this is it.

What You'll Own

Corporate Events — Inbound & Outbound

  • Handle inbound enquiries from corporates — understand what they need, scope the event, send sharp proposals, and close the deal
  • Build an outbound pipeline from scratch: identify target companies, reach out to HR/admin/employee engagement teams, pitch PlayAll's offerings, and convert them into clients
  • Own the full client lifecycle — from first conversation to flawless execution to repeat bookings next quarter
  • Coordinate with the open events and tournaments team for on-ground delivery — you own the client relationship, the team supports execution
  • Build and maintain a vendor network for referees, caterers, photographers, equipment, and branding

Open Events & Tournaments

  • Take structured reporting from the tournament execution team and hold them accountable to the calendar
  • Track what's working — registrations, revenue, player feedback — and improve the playbook every cycle
  • Own event P&L: budgeting, vendor negotiation, margin tracking, post-event financial closure

Community Engagement & Pickup Games

  • Work with the community team to design better processes for pickup game operations across venues
  • Track the metrics that matter: session frequency, host quality, player retention, conversion from first-time players to regulars
  • Build reporting frameworks and accountability systems so the team runs on structure, not on reminders
  • Coordinate with marketing on WhatsApp broadcasts and Meta ads to drive registrations

Who You Are

  • 3-5 years in sports, events, hospitality, or community operations — with at least 1 year managing a team
  • You write clean English and can hold a confident conversation with a senior corporate stakeholder
  • You have a sales instinct — you don't just wait for leads, you create them
  • You're process-obsessed — you think in workflows, SOPs, checklists, and dashboards, not "let's figure it out on the day"
  • You're comfortable with numbers — registrations, conversion rates, revenue per event, margins
  • You're fluent in Hindi and English
  • You genuinely like sports — you play, you watch, you follow, you care
  • You're willing to travel across Delhi NCR venues and work weekends when events are running
  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Sports Management, or related field

Compensation

upto 10 LPA, with room to go higher for the right candidate. This role has a direct line to revenue — your impact will be visible and rewarded.

Why This Role

You'll work directly with the founders — no three layers of middle management between you and decisions. You'll build a function, not just fill a position. You'll see your processes scale across 100 venues over the next few years. And you'll do it in a company where the product is getting people to play sports — not selling software or moving spreadsheets.

If you've been stuck in a generic events agency doing the same wedding template on loop, or buried in a corporate role where nothing you do is visible — this is your way out.
