Title: Entertainment, Sports & Media Analyst

Company: Alignerr

Location: United States

Entertainment, Sports & Media Analyst (AI Training)

About The Role

Are you the person your friends turn to for hot takes on last night's game, the latest box office news, or what's trending in pop culture? We want to pay you for that expertise.

We're looking for entertainment, sports, and media enthusiasts to help shape how AI understands these industries. You'll evaluate AI-generated content covering film, television, music, professional and amateur sports, gaming, journalism, social media, and pop culture — making sure it's accurate, culturally on-point, and genuinely useful.

This is fully remote, flexible contract work. You set your schedule.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Review AI-generated content across entertainment, sports, and media for factual accuracy and overall quality
  • Evaluate whether AI outputs capture the right tone, cultural context, and nuance for each topic
  • Identify errors, outdated information, or misrepresentations in AI-generated articles, summaries, and responses
  • Rate and rank AI responses for helpfulness, relevance, and engagement
  • Provide clear, structured written feedback to improve AI performance across media-related topics
  • Research and cross-reference claims against reliable sources — official stats, databases, and reputable outlets
  • Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Genuinely passionate about entertainment, sports, or media — with strong knowledge in at least one area
  • Current on trends, events, and cultural conversations in your area of expertise
  • Strong reader with clear, effective written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented — you notice when something's off or doesn't add up
  • Comfortable working through content at scale using structured evaluation guidelines
  • Self-motivated and reliable in a remote, independent work environment
  • No prior AI or technical experience required

Nice to Have

  • Background in journalism, communications, sports analytics, film studies, or a related field
  • Experience writing, editing, or reviewing media content professionally or personally
  • Familiarity with sports statistics, entertainment databases (e.g., IMDb, ESPN), or media industry terminology
  • Knowledge spanning multiple sports leagues (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS), entertainment genres, or global media markets
