E-Sports Gaming Laboratory Coach

Job Description

Alabama State University, Division of Student Affairs, invites application to fil the position of E-Sports Gaming Laboratory Coach. The successful applicant will develop the team’s strategic plan, and assist the team in improving team play to win as many games as possible.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze the current meta to draft up strong strategies that pay to the team’s strengths
• Enhance internal communication of the players through team-building activities and identifying key communication lapses during games
• Ensure players keep a positive outlook on the game, their performance and have a winner’s mentality through various motivational tactics
• Resolve a player’s personal issues and provide consulting on personal issues to remove mental baggage from the player to ensure they perform at the max potential
• Ensure the players are prepared when traveling and that player jerseys, sponsorship items, and team-branding merchandise, etc. are ready for competition
• Coordinate scrimmages for the teams to provide mor practicing opportunities

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, and relevant experience required.
