Duty Manager – Edinburgh FWC (Fitness & Wellbeing Club)
Permanent, Full time – Salary: £28,620 per annum (40 hours per week)
Nuffield Health is the UK’s largest healthcare charity, dedicated to improving fitness, wellbeing, and health. We are looking for a Passionate Duty Manager to lead our gym team.
Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth club operations, including opening and closing shifts.
- Prioritise member satisfaction and foster strong relationships.
- Lead by example, provide support and guidance to colleagues while upholding quality standards.
- Conduct sales outreach and tours for prospective members, highlighting club benefits.
- Maintain health and safety protocols and address issues promptly.
- Help achieve sales targets.
- Be able to swim to a high standard, ready for lifeguard break coverage and may undergo on‑site training.
Qualifications & Skills
- Demonstrable sales experience in a customer‑facing environment.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
- Strong “can do” attitude and customer‑service orientation.
- Ability to swim at a high standard and willingness to complete on‑site training.
