Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Driver position based in Colombo. The Driver will be responsible for operating trucks or vehicles to transport goods, ensuring their timely and safe delivery. Key responsibilities include loading and unloading items, maintaining vehicles in good working condition, and adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. Effective communication with clients and team members is essential to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven truck driving experience, including operating trucks and holding a valid CDL Class A license
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients
- Customer service skills to ensure high levels of client satisfaction
- Ability to manage routes effectively and adhere to schedules
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations
- Previous experience in logistics or transportation is a plus
- Ability to maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic vehicle checks
