Director of Player Development, M. Basketball Jobs in Nashville, TN at Vanderbilt University

Assist in developing a plan to increase the efficiency in every aspect of our program and specifically in the development of the student-athletes, both on and off the court

Coordinate summer programs for student-athletes as needed

Act as a liaison between coaches, team and parents as requested

Assist with the planning and execution of all Vanderbilt Men’s Basketball camps

Maintain the continual growth of the Vanderbilt Men’s Basketball brand
-
Complete all other tasks as assigned by the head coach and/or athletic administration

Comply with NCAA and SEC rules and regulations.
Education and Certifications:

A Bachelor’s degree is necessary .

A Master’s degree is preferred .
Experience and Skills
-
Minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience is necessary .

Prior basketball experience is necessary .
- Excellent communication skills is necessary .
- Team Player is necessary .
