About the Role:

You will be responsible for end-to-end demand forecasting, inventory planning, purchasing, and coordinating importation activities. This role requires strong analytical skills, supply chain experience, and excellent communication, especially with international suppliers. You will play a key role in ensuring optimal stock levels while aligning procurement with sales and market demand.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, buying, or procurement.
  • Proven experience in managing international suppliers and coordinating importation processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
  • Experience using ERP systems (Odoo is a plus)
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Demand Planning & Forecasting

  • Analyze historical sales, trends, seasonality, and market insights to generate accurate forecasts.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align demand plans with campaigns and promotions.
  • Adjust forecasts based on real-time performance and maintain forecast accuracy metrics.· Identify demand variances, propose corrective actions, and improve forecasting models.
  • Develop rolling forecasts and maintain a 3–6 month forward view of inventory needs.

2. Inventory Management & Procurement

  • Monitor stock levels and maintain optimal inventory across multiple categories and brands.
  • Identify reorder points and determine ideal order quantities, factoring in safety stock and lead times.
  • Plan and execute purchase orders, ensuring cost-efficiency and timely replenishment.
  • Analyze stock aging and provide action plans for excess, obsolete, or slow-moving inventory.

3. Importation & Supplier Coordination

  • Manage international orders from placement to delivery, including documentation and shipping timelines.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and suppliers to ensure smooth importation processes.
  • Ensure accurate preparation and tracking of shipping documents, invoices, and packing lists.
  • Communicate professionally with overseas suppliers and proactively resolve issues.

4. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain SKU planning and inventory tracking sheets.
  • Generate regular reports on forecast accuracy, stock coverage, purchase performance, and variances.
  • Identify and implement improvements in the demand planning and procurement process.

WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday – Friday | compressed working time (9:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Alternating Saturdays | only twice a month (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
