Duties
- Plan and facilitate a variety of camp activities including sports, arts and crafts, theater, and educational games that cater to diverse age groups.
- Maintain a safe environment by supervising children closely and implementing proper behavior management techniques.
- Take proper attendance daily
- Provide first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or health concerns.
- Support children with special needs or those requiring additional assistance through tailored approaches aligned with best practices in childhood development.
- Foster teamwork, respect, and positive social interactions among campers through effective classroom management and group activities.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding camper progress or concerns.
- Collaborate with fellow staff members to ensure smooth daily operations and uphold camp policies.
Skills
- Strong classroom management skills to guide children’s behavior positively and effectively.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures to handle minor injuries or health issues confidently.
- Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, tutoring, or early childhood education environments.
- Ability to adapt activities for children with special needs or behavioral challenges using inclusive strategies.
- Excellent teaching skills combined with patience and enthusiasm for engaging young learners.
- Background in sports coaching, theater arts, or childcare enhances your ability to lead diverse activities.

Pay: $10.00 – $13.00 per hour

This is a very important question because summer camp runs from May to August and some days are hotter than others. Although it will be fun, the heat can also be challenging! I need someone prepared to take on the heat and have some fun with the kids!
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
Ability to Commute:
