The Starz Program of Seminole County and Orange County is seeking dependable, punctual, and energetic Dance, Cheer, Yoga, and Gymnastics Instructors to inspire and mentor students in a fun, positive, and structured environment. Opportunities are available in Lake Mary, Sanford, Longwood, Altamonte Springs, Winter Springs, Winter Park, Orlando, and Oviedo.
Our top priority is hiring instructors who are reliable, professional, and consistently on time. We are looking for team members that families and students can count on to show up prepared, engaged, and ready to lead every class with enthusiasm and positivity.
Instructors will lead engaging, age-appropriate classes focused on skill development, confidence-building, teamwork, and personal growth while maintaining a safe and encouraging environment for all students.
Responsibilities may include:
- Arriving on time, consistently, and prepared for every class
- Teaching fundamentals and progressive skills in dance, cheer, yoga, tumbling, flexibility, conditioning, or gymnastics
- Creating and teaching choreography, routines, drills, and lesson plans
- Maintaining strong classroom management and a positive learning environment
- Supervising students at all times to ensure safety and structure
- Preparing students for performances, recitals, showcases, or special events
- Encouraging discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, and self-confidence
- Communicating professionally with program staff and families when needed
Ideal candidates are dependable leaders who enjoy working with children and have prior experience in dance instruction, cheer coaching, gymnastics, tumbling, yoga instruction, or related athletic programs. Competitive, studio, school, or recreational coaching experience is preferred.
Weekday classes are typically scheduled between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM at school locations, with flexible opportunities based on program needs and instructor availability.
